Really cool joint, super friendly folks, great drinks, good vibes. Highly recommend! We got two iced matchas with mac nut milk, great vegan option. They also serve local coffee.

This place not only had great coffee with lots of alternative milk and sugar free options, but their eclectic and community atmosphere really made my morning. The patrons and employees were relaxed and welcoming. I’m very picky about coffee and just came from Europe, their espresso was DELICIOUS and smooth. Lots of playful decor including helpful maps and info. Cannot recommend this place enough. It’s sure to put a smile on your face and provide you with a delicious morning coffee.

We tried the frozen mocha and loved it so much we bought it immediately. It was delicious and fueled our 3-mile walk down Kihei's beaches. Highly recommend stopping in and trying their signature drink. The host is very friendly and shared a number of fun snippets about growing coffee in the island. Stop by, and you won't be disappointed.

I am a classic coffee drinker where a house drip defines the quality of the beans roasted. Lava Java makes one fine cup of jo! I refuse to buy burnt coffee from mass production Seattle based company and love the local flavor. Lava Java is my morning go to place for fantastic coffee. Highly recommend!

Love this place! The service is very friendly and fast even on a crowded day. You are able to modify almost any drink you order. Today I got a large Ice Caramel Machiattao with Coconut cream and it was refreshing. My friend got a medium Frozen Mocha which she said was amazing upon taking her first sip. Affordable, delicious locally owned coffee!
